Experienced Veterinary Technician OR Veterinary Assistant
We are looking for a Veterinary Technician or assistant to help provide care to our patients, including performing exams, administering medicine and assisting the veterinarian.
The right candidate will have a high level of commitment to animal welfare, compassion and a strong work ethic.
We have an open position for immediate hire.
EXPERIENCE as a vet tech OR vet assistant preferred.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to work unsupervised, is motivated and a proactive thinker.
The job can be fast paced and you need to be able to think ahead, anticipate what is needed to get the job done.
Need little supervision and always stay busy.
Friendly and easy going, must be able to work with the public as well as with the animals.
Must be able to adapt to various doctors and their way of doing things, work with various personalities with a smile on your face at all times.
* Animal experience in a clinic setting is REQUIRED.
* Pay dependent on skills and experience.

* Must be flexible.
We are open 7-6 weekdays and 8-3 every other Saturdays.
(Including boarding help on Sundays & holidays)
* Duties include all aspects of caring for boarding & hospitalized patients, administering medications, accurately documenting medical records, assisting veterinarians with patient examinations & procedures & surgeries.
* Ideal applicant will be a reliable, hardworking, quick-learning, organized, and self-motivated team player who is able to follow directions, and work in a very stressful, fast-paced environment
* Must be able to maintain a smile on their face at all times under all situations.
* Job duties require the ability to lift up to 40 to 50 pounds, and handle all aspects of physical labor (cleaning, mopping, walking large dogs, etc)
Must have a general proficiency at math, and computer literate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $15.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
