*Plaintiff Trial Attorney situated in Metairie, Louisiana with a nationwide trial practice focusing on railroad, maritime, and serious personal injury cases is actively seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to manage the Attorney’s trial docket and active case load, handle all aspects of scheduling, calendaring, and logistics, including the Attorney’s email.

*Responsibilities include:*
* *Managing Trial Attorney’s Calendar and Logistics*
* *Coordinating, scheduling, and calendaring all items on casework litigation*
* *Coordinating client’s legal appointments such as deposition, mediation, settlement conference*
* *Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, memos, notices of deposition, subpoenas, FOIA requests, initial disclosures*
* *Drafting Interrogatories, Requests for Production of Documents, Requests for Admissions, and organizing Responses to same*
* *Filing pleadings with both State and Federal Court*
* *Responsible for case file organization*
* *Returning and monitoring Phone Calls*
* *Preparing exhibit books, bench books, trial books, and hearing binders*
* *Communicating with clients regarding status of case, medical appointments, and treatment*
* *Reviewing and summarizing clients’ medical records*
*Qualifications:*
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in managing a fast-paced environment and workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Proficiency with logistics and managing the calendar for professionals
