Antique midcentury alarm clock (New Orleans)

This should be an authentic mid century modern alarm clock.
I can't speak to its authenticity, but I bought it in an antique shop and took their word for it.
I plugged it in and it didn't work, but might be fixable.
Has factory markings on the back that are clearer in person than in the photo
