The African iris is a special, dainty iris that is a perennial.
It forms an upright clump with tall thin grass-like blades and has gorgeous small white flowers with mauve and yellow centers.
It's fine with full sun or part-shade, so it can be located in most areas of the garden.
It can also grow in containers.
Just be sure to have well-drained soil.
It is able to tolerate both lots of rain and dryness.
