Front Desk Guest Service Representative

Hype Haus Fitness, one of New Orleans newest premier boutique fitness studios, is now hiring front desk associates.
You will be responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills to current and potential members and assisting in day to day operations and assignments.
Our ideal candidate has previous sales associate experience and has a personal passion for health and wellness.
We provide substantial paid training to ensure your success.
Job Type: Part-time *Responsibilities of Front Desk Associate* * Greet prospective and current members with top of the line customer service * Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone, and email * Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships and retail * Conduct tours of the studio space for prospective members * Follow up with first time customers to execute sale * Check members into classes / assist with any set up of equipment.
* Assist with the new membership signing-up process.
* Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner * Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the studio with daily cleaning and laundry procedures.
* Complete daily assignments * Wok collaboratively with team members and studio management * Participate in special promotional events * Maintain and upholds brand standards at all times *Qualifications/Requirements* * Customer service background preferred.
* Previous experience in the fitness industry preferred.
* Must have proficient computer skills * A passion for fitness and health and a positive attitude * Must be punctual and reliable * Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member's expectations.
* Strong listener with the ability to empathize with members and problem-solve with both members and team * Uses appropriate behavior and language.
* High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
* CPR / AED certification preferred.
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
*Physical Demands* * Continual standing and walking during shift.
* Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
* Moving of bikes / equipment * Perform minor bike maintenance, if necessary.
* Regular exposure to certain chemicals related to cleaning products.
