*Position*
Part-time Assistant General Manager (AGM) reporting directly to GM.
Approximately 30-35 hours/week.
Must be available to work weekends.

*Summary*
Boutique, limited service hotel consisting of 26 keys in two historic mansions on Esplanade Ave offers guests a unique, experiential stay in the Treme/French Quarter area.
The hotel will leverage technology solutions and operated by the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Housekeeping Manager.
The AGM will share many departmental responsibilities with the GM including revenue management, marketing, guest relations, reservation management, budgeting, and scheduling and coordinating housekeeping and maintenance management.

* Punctuality and strong sense of responsibility
* Positive disposition for guest relations to build brand loyalty
* Willingness to build knowledge about New Orleans history and distinctive arts, entertainment and dining offerings
* Strong familiarity with various computer software and iOS mobile applications; experience with Property Management Software and Customer Reservation Systems a big plus
* Willingness to learn and develop hospitality management skills in a unique limited/self-service hotel product type, largely enhanced and automated by technology solutions
*Core Work Activities*
* Manage the "front of the house", interacting with guests in person and over the phone
* Coordinate bookings and manage guest correspondence
* Oversee the housekeeping staff and room turnover with incoming guests
* Management of reservations across multiple distribution channels via the PMS
* Implement sales & marketing strategies, including email marketing and social media marketing
* Online review management and remediation
* Walk the property to ensure quality and cleanliness standards of public spaces and rooms; delegate major maintenance
* Daily sundry tasks such as responding to emails and calls, receiving deliveries, keeping office and common areas organized, keeping lobby water filled, removing leftover pastries, light cleaning & trash removal, etc.
