SUMMARY
Clean, transport and store all pots and pans used in the food and beverage operations and maintain the pots and pans room in a clean and orderly manner.
CORE FOCUS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualified candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete the following responsibilities.
Other duties may be assigned.
Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in the hotel.
Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens have the requisite amounts of the above to properly open their shifts and that there is sufficient storage and racks in which to place dirty dishes, silver, pots, and pans.
Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables and floors.
Regular attendance in conformance with Ace Hotel standards
Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings.
SUPPORTING FUNCTIONS
In addition to the core focus & responsibilities, the candidate is expected to complete the following duties:
Assist culinary staff during any special request or priorities as requested by culinary leadership.

May require extending arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces for extended periods of time.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma preferred.
Previous experience in a hotel and/or restaurant preferred.
LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, and REASONING ABILITIES

Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written English (additional foreign languages are encouraged and preferred).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional equipment as found in a typical kitchen environment.
