Hospital Unit Secretary Job Summary:
BridgePoint Hospital is seeking a Unit Secretary.
The Unit Secretary provides clerical/administrative support and assistance to the nursing and medical staff.
The Unit Secretary performs a variety of clerical and record-keeping functions in the facility.
The Unit Secretary greets and provide assistance to patients and visitors as required.
Prepare and organize charts and medical records.
Unit Secretary, Unit Clerk, Medical Secretary, Medical Clerk, Hospital Secretary, Clinical Secretary
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a medical facility or practice.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Must maintain current BLS certification throughout employment.
Experience: Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions (Medical order entry)
